Jane Crockett started designing and making jewellery about 25 years ago, setting up her first studio in London in 1988. Having lived in both Barcelona and rural West Somerset her work is influenced by a heady mix of cultures, architecture, sights, sounds and landscapes.

As well as designing and making jewellery Jane teaches at various adult education centres and educational trusts in the South West as well as welcoming visitors and students to her workshop.

All the pieces are made in precious metals, silver and the occasional touch of gold. Jane is always exploring and experimenting with new and different techniques which means her work is evolving and changing all the time. She is fascinated by the properties of silver and the textures and forms that can be created.
